Shannon Lam

Shannon Lam is an associate in our Orange County office.  She practices intellectual property law with an emphasis on U.S. and foreign patent prosecution and patent portfolio management in the medical device and mechanical fields.  

Ms. Lam currently represents clients in a variety of medical device related technologies, including ophthalmic devices, cardiovascular devices, pulmonary devices, and orthopedic devices.  She also has extensive experience in prosecuting utility and design patents related to consumer goods.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Lam developed patent prosecution strategies for medical device start-up companies in various fields, including endoscopic surgery, spinal implants, cancer diagnostics, and wound care.

Ms. Lam joined the firm in 2011.
